A total of 8.05 million domestic LPG connections have been issued under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 2.0, which was recently launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh.


The average subsidized domestic LPG refill consumption under PMUY was highest in Delhi at 8.12 cylinders, followed by Chandigarh (7.45 cylinders), Puducherry (6.67 cylinders) and Mizoram (6.22 cylinders). The lowest refill consumption of 2.57 cylinders of 14.2 kg was recorded in Chhattisgarh.

The second phase of the Ujjwala 2.0 scheme was launched by the Prime Minister on August 10, 2021 in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh to provide one crore additional LPG connections on all India basis along with free first refill and stove. has been started for. How to apply for Ujjwala Yojana 2.0

  • If you want to apply online then go to the official website https://www.pmuy.gov.in/.
  • Select the company for gas connection by selecting the option of online application.
  • After that fill the required information and submit it.
  • For offline application download the form from the website.
  • Then fill the form and submit it to the nearest gas dealer.
  • You will get a gas connection by giving self-declaration of your address for address proof.
