UIDAI has given important information for enrollment of new Aadhaar. It told that people no longer need to go far to get a new Aadhaar. Aadhaar will be easily made near to your home.
UIDAI keeps on transmitting important information related to AADHAAR to common people through social media from time to time. It shared important information related to Aadhaar with its users on Tuesday as well.
UIDAI said that you can enroll for Aadhaar at any Aadhaar center near you and for this only limited documents will be required. UIDAI said that any Indian will have to carry an identity card i.e. voter card and a permanent residence certificate to the Aadhaar center. Photocopy of both the documents will also have to be brought along.
UIDAI said that Passport, PAN Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, Driving License and Government Photo ID card can be used as identity card.
Apart from this, NREGS Job Card, Arms License, Photo Bank ATM Card, Photo Credit Card, Pensioner Photo Card, Freedom Fighter Photo Card and Kissan Photo Passbook will also be valid.
Similarly, for address proof, Passport, Bank Statement i.e. Passbook, Post Office Account Statement i.e. Passbook, Ration Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Government Photo ID cards, Electricity Bill and Water Bill will also be valid.
