It is often read or heard that people keep tenants in their vacant houses without any verification. Keeping anyone as a tenant in your house without verification is dangerous not only for you but also for the neighbourhood. The person to whom you have given your house on rent is not a suspicious person. The government and administration often keep alerting the people that the tenant must be verified. Strong verification of the person can be done through Aadhar card. You can do this work yourself in few minutes.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the issuing body of Aadhaar card, has told how to verify Aadhaar. Through this, you can find out whether the Aadhaar card of the person to whom you are renting your house is real or fake. Today we will tell you about this whole process.

Every 12 digit number is not aadhaar

According to UIDAI, every 12 digit number is not Aadhaar. It is necessary to verify this. Aadhaar number verification can be done through the UIDAI website in a matter of seconds and there is no charge for it.

How to verify aadhar number

Let us tell you that at present, Aadhar Card is being accepted as ID proof in most places. In many places, first of all Aadhaar is asked. But UIDAI, the authority overseeing Aadhaar-related services, says that every 12-digit number is not Aadhaar. Therefore, UIDAI provides the facility to verify the Aadhaar number of anyone.

To verify the Aadhaar number, first login to the link resident.uidai.gov.in/verify. Enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number here. After filling the security code and captcha, click on Proceed to Verify.

After clicking on Verify, if the 12 digit number entered by you is indeed an Aadhaar number and has not been deactivated, the status of your Aadhaar number to be present and operational will be shown on the website. Along with this, the message of completion of verification will also be shown.
