The special thing is that any adult and minor NRI can also get Aadhaar card made. To get the Aadhar card, the non-resident Indian will have to visit the Aadhar Center. It is necessary for NRIs to have an Indian passport to get an Aadhar card. You will have to take the form at the Aadhaar center and fill in the information in it. It is important to know here that it is also mandatory for NRIs to provide e-mail ID information. The form for Aadhar card for NRIs is also slightly different.

This form will be accompanied by a photocopy of the passport as proof of identity. Apart from this, NRIs can also provide other valid documents. After filling this form completely, the process of capturing biometric will be done. Here, the point to be noted is that before submitting all these details of the operator at the Aadhaar center, they must be checked once. After this information is entered in the computer, a registration slip will be given. In this, the 14 digit enrollment ID and the date and time of registration are recorded.

Indian mobile number required

It is mandatory for NRIs to provide Indian mobile number in the details given for Aadhaar card. International numbers are not allowed for Aadhar card. Therefore it is necessary for the NRI to have an Indian mobile number. Different documents are needed to make an Aadhar card for the child of an NRI. If the child has an Indian passport, then his Aadhar card will be made from that. But, if the child does not have an Indian passport, then his parents will have to provide documents proving their relationship with the child. Apart from this, one of the parents will also have to give approval to make Aadhar card on behalf of the child.
