UAN Numbe: To know what is your UAN number, follow these easy steps

Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) which gives a UAN number to almost all PF account holders in the country so that they can check their balance and withdraw money. Also, the UAN remains the same, meaning if you leave any company and join any other company, then the same old UAN is used. What happens with this is that the money keeps getting added to the previous account, no matter how many times the company changes.




But what happens many times that our PF account is opened by the company but we do not even know about our UAN, what is the UAN number. That’s why we have told the complete process below that how you can check what is the UAN number for your EPFO account. Also, it is very important for us to know about the UAN number.

Know your UAN number like this

If you also want to know your UAN number for EPFO, then follow the process given below.

Step 1: For this, first of all you have to go to the portal of https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.

Step 2: After this a page will open where you will have to click on the option ‘Know your UAN Status’ shown on the screen.

Step 3: Now a dropdown menu will open where you have to select your state and EPFO office.

Step 4: Now you have to enter some personal information like name, date of birth, mobile number and PF number along with captcha code. PF number will be found in your salary slip.

Step 5: Now the option of ‘Get Authorization Pin’ will be seen on the screen, click on it.

Step 6: Now you will get a PIN on your registered 10 digit mobile number.

Step 7: Enter the PIN received on the registered mobile number and click on the button ‘Validate OTP and Get UAN’ shown on the screen.

Step 8: Thus Universal Account Number or UAN number will be sent to your registered mobile number.
