Let us tell you that according to the rules of the new motor vehicle act 2019, if a driver travels through the wrong side, then he will have to pay a challan of 5000 rupees if caught. Delhi Police says that the drivers use the one way (wrong side) road to save time and haste. Due to this there is a possibility of road accident. In such a situation, the traffic police has decided to take strict action against such drivers.

Action will be taken even after taking U turn

Now Delhi Traffic Police is ready to take strict action regarding this. Action will be taken against such drivers who travel through illegal cuts.

Regarding this, Delhi Traffic Police has appealed to the people not to do this on Twitter. Along with this, it has also been advised that driving from the wrong side has been kept in the category of dangerous driving under section 184 of the new Motor Vehicle Act. In such a situation, if caught violating this rule, a fine of up to Rs 5000 can be imposed. Apart from this, the driving license of the person caught can also be confiscated.
