Challan of Unregistered Vehicles Plying On Delhi Roads: The Delhi government is strict about vehicles plying on the road without registration. A new guideline has been issued for action on such vehicles.

Rs 5000 Fine On Unregistered Vehicles Plying In Delhi: The Delhi government is strict about vehicles plying on the road without registration. A new guideline has been issued for action on such vehicles. According to the new SOP issued by the Delhi government, if a vehicle is found plying on the road without registration, it will be fined Rs 5000 in the first instance and if the same vehicle is found to be committing this offense again, a fine of Rs 10 thousand will be imposed. Along with this, a provision of imprisonment up to 1 year has also been made. The government has taken this step in view of the increasing number of vehicles without registration plates on the road.

In such a situation, if you have recently bought a new vehicle, whose registration has not been done yet, then you need to be careful. If you are caught on the roads of Delhi with an unregistered vehicle, then you will have to pay a heavy fine. According to officials, there is a provision of fine of up to 10 thousand rupees even if the registration mark is not visible. Officials say that vehicles are being driven without valid registration plates, so if they cause an accident, it will be difficult to trace them.

Officials said, “In some cases, it has been observed that vehicle owners were grazing by pasting paper sheets with registration numbers. Showrooms should only offer vehicles with registration numbers to customers.” Explain that high security registration plates were made mandatory in Delhi from April 2019. These plates are given by the vehicle manufacturers to the dealers and these plates have a registration mark. According to officials, the purpose of issuing the SOP is to empower the enforcement officers to take action against vehicles plying on the road without registration.
