Delhi Transport Department can send notice to those vehicle owners who do not have valid PUC certificate, they will have to deposit Rs 10,000 as challan.


Traffic Rules in India: The capital Delhi has once again taken concrete steps to reduce the level of air pollution. This time the Delhi Transport Department has tried from its level. After which the problems of the vehicle owners driving without a valid Pollution Under Control-PUC in Delhi are going to increase. Vehicles plying in Delhi without PUC certificate will have to pay heavy fine. It has been made mandatory for all vehicles to have PUC certificate, failing which the vehicle owners will have to pay a fine.

If you don’t have PUC certificate, deposit Rs 10,000
The Transport Department of Delhi Government may start sending notices to those vehicle owners who do not have valid PUC certificate. Drivers who do not have PUC certificate will have to deposit Rs 10,000 as challan.

DL will be canceled if not fine or jail
According to Transport Department sources, the validity of pollution control (PUC) certificate of about 17,24,891 vehicles in Delhi has expired. The Transport Department is preparing to intensify action against all these vehicles. The department has clearly said that action will be taken against people without PUCC, which will result in a fine of Rs 10,000 or a jail term of 6 months, or both challan and punishment. Apart from this, driving license can also be canceled for up to 3 months.

Government running many campaigns
The Kejriwal government of Delhi is taking several steps to deal with the problem of air pollution in Delhi. Apart from the red light on, car off campaign on the roads of Delhi, the campaign to stop the dust and the campaign to extinguish the fire in the open etc. is being run by the Environment Department.

Transport Department took steps
In such a situation, the Transport Department is also making efforts to reduce air pollution at its level. In this direction, now vehicles running without pollution control (PUC) are being banned. A large number of vehicles without PUC are plying on the roads of Delhi. The weather of the city is getting worse due to the smoke coming out of these vehicles.
