Traffic Challan: This state government led by CM has decided to waive off more than 17 lakh pending traffic challans in Noida. According to the government order, the challans which were issued between April 1, 2018 and December 31, 2021.


They will be canceled by the traffic department. That means challans of 3 years will be waived. Let us tell you that during this period of this year, about 17,89,463 challans were issued for traffic violations. Even before this, the government has waived off 30,000 challans and removed them from the website. These were between December 2016 and December 2021.

Waiver of challan will provide relief to a large number of vehicle owners. Which includes everyone from taxi drivers and commuters to daily workers. If your challan is also pending between the time of forgiven challan. Then you don’t need to fill it. The reason for this is that it will be removed from the website soon.

If you have already paid the fine, what to do now?

Now if you have already deposited the traffic challan then nothing can be done in such a situation. During this period, approximately 7 lakh people have deposited the challans issued.
