Apart from this, the Union Minister also said that we had made a rule in the year 2019 that cars will come with company fitted number plates. Now there is a plan to remove the toll plaza and install the cameras. Those who will read these number plates and money will be deducted directly from the account.

Target to reduce road accidents by 2024

Gadkari said that now if someone travels even 10 km, then he has to pay 75 km. But after the change in the rules, the money will be taken for the distance covered. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also said that our goal is to reduce road accidents. He also denied that the National Highways Authority of India was going through a financial crisis.

Work is being done on 26 Green Expressway

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the government is working on 26 Green Expressways. Before the year 2024, 26 green expressways will be ready in the country.
