How much toll tax is currently being charged on the expressway

At present, toll tax is being charged on the expressway at the rate of Rs 2.19 per kilometer. It will now be increased by 10 percent. The proposal of revised toll rates will be sent from all PIUs by March 25. They are likely to be implemented from April 1 after the approval of the Ministry of Road and Transport.

Toll rates for cars and light vehicles will increase by 5 percent, toll tax for heavy vehicles may increase by 10 percent.

20 thousand vehicles pass daily on the expressway

Tell that at present, the movement of about 20 thousand vehicles is happening daily on the expressway. The number of vehicles moving on the expressway is increasing everyday. According to an estimate, in the coming time, about 50 to 60 thousand vehicles will start passing on the expressway daily.

Monthly pass may also increase by 10 percent

According to media reports, toll rates will be increased on Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Delhi Meerut Expressway. At the same time, there is a plan to increase the monthly pass facility by 10 percent to the people living in the area of ​​20 km from the toll plaza. This monthly pass is usually cheap, but it can also be expensive.

On March 1, where the gas cylinder had become costlier by Rs 50, the rate of commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 350.50.
