Haryana Government has gifted another highway to the people. Now a highway will be built till Delhi. This will not only reduce the traffic of GT Road, but will also not have to pay toll. About Rs 217 crore will be spent to build the 47 km highway.
Highway will be built between two canals
Actually, a highway is being built between two canals from Panipat to Delhi. There is already a road between the canals. Although broken in many places. Now the highway is passing through it from Panipat to Delhi. This will also reduce accidents and save tolls. This route has been named as Relief Highway.
Will be completed in two years
Haryana State Road Development Corporation (HSRDC) has started the construction work of about 47 km long road from Panipat to Delhi border. The work of earthing is going on by uprooting the already built road. The agency will have to complete the work in two years.
Four bridges will also be built
One ROB, one RUB and four bridges will be constructed by the agency on the highway. Of these, three bridges will be made of iron and one bridge will be made of CC. Wherever the road is bad, the soil is being replaced first.
There will be less traffic
The double canal road will work as a bypass. Traffic of Delhi and Panipat will also be diverted. Due to less traffic in Panipat city, people will get relief from jam. If needed, the administration will be able to divert the vehicles. Vehicles get stuck in jams due to day-to-day accidents or protests on GT Road. Now vehicles can be diverted.
These will be the benefits
1- There is no toll barrier here, toll tax will be saved directly.
2- This route can be used in areas like Karala, Rohini, Palam Airport, Shakurpur.
3- Two bridges will be built near Khubdu Jhal.
4- There will be a flyover on Sonipat Gohana Road.
5- A bridge will be built near Halalpur.
6- Crossing Kundli, Manesar, Palwal Expressway, this road will go towards Delhi.
