After the arrest of Captain Safdar Awan, son-in-law of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, there has been more political turmoil in Pakistan and civil war like situation has occurred in the country. Pakistani media reported that the house of Sindh province Governor Imran Ismail has been surrounded by the Pakistani Army. In fact, at a rally organized against the Imran Khan government, Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz made a loud speech and on the orders of the bewildered Imran Khan, the army arrested Mariam’s husband Safdar Awan.

The Pakistani army is alleged to have kidnapped and forcibly signed the FIR of Sindh Province Chief of Police Mushkaq Mahar to forcefully sign Safdar Awan’s arrest order. This hurt IGP Mushtaq Mahar went on leave. After this, more than 70 top police officers of Sindh went on leave to protest against the kidnapping of IGP Mushtaq Mahar by the Pakistani Army. Following these allegations, Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa (Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa) has ordered an inquiry into the whole matter.

Rebellion against army, many died

Hurt by the vandalism of the army, the police revolted against the Pakistan Army and ISI in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province. According to the report of the International Herald, 10 police officers of the Sindh police were killed in the firing of the Pakistani army due to a clash between the army and the police late on Tuesday evening. At the same time, a large number of Pakistan Army soldiers are also reported to have died in cross firing between Pakistan Army and Sindh Police.

Furious mob set fire to Bajwa shopping mall

A fierce mob in Karachi set fire to the shopping mall of Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s brother after the Pakistan Army opened fire on the Sindh police. Earlier, the Sindh police had tweeted that on the night of 18 October, army personnel forcefully picked up the Sindh police chief from home and were forced to sign Mohammad Safdar’s arrest order. Following this tweet, Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday ordered an inquiry into the arrest of the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Safdar was arrested from his hotel room in Karachi on Monday. However, he was released a few hours later.
