Indo-China Border Dispute: Chinese goods are still full of shopkeepers and are also being sold. Shopkeepers are also demanding concrete options from the government.

Patna. In the midst of a conflict with China, on the one hand, the Indian government is asking to teach China a lesson on the economic front, on the other hand, the citizens of the country are also saying that they are like China. Will boycott If someone is appealing to boycott in social media, then while talking about self-sufficient India, someone is raising the voice of not buying such goods. In such a situation, the question arises what will happen to Patna’s Chandni Market, Bakarganj, which is a hub of mobile phones and electronics goods made in China. There has been some decline in sales here in the past, but it has come from the boycott of Chinese products or the recession that has arisen after the lockdown.

Government will have to give option
The shopkeepers here are still full of Chinese goods and it is also being sold. Explain that Indo-China border dispute is continuing on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh. After the martyrdom of the Indian soldiers on the LAC, there is a lot of anger among the people. Although the boycott campaign for Chinese goods is gaining momentum in some sections after the 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a violent clash between the Indian and Chinese military in Ladakh, there is a significant amount of Chinese goods in the markets. People are being appealed to boycott them, but the government has not imposed any restriction on their import so far.

Electronics businessman Ajay Chaurasia of Chandni Market, located on Station Road, says that due to the ongoing dispute with China, there will be a definite reduction in Chinese product sales, but the government will have to give an option for a complete shutdown. If the goods come from China, then the shopkeepers will sell. He said that with waking up in the morning, which Chinese goods do we use till bedtime at night. Many people do not even know this. Boycott of Chinese goods will not happen just by speaking. The government will have to take concrete steps on this.

Due to the cheap sale of Chinese goods
, mobile, power bank, earphones, headphones, memory cards, pen drives, mobile chargers, data cables, batteries and other Chinese accessories are easily available in Bakarganj. Shopkeepers say that 70 to 80 percent of the goods here are made in China. Products made in China are in great demand due to their cheap prices.
