TCS latest update: Big news for employees! Strictness on work from home in TCS, no reduction in hiring

TCS Transfer Notice: The country’s IT sector giant Tata Consultancy Services has suddenly sent transfer notice to more than 2000 of its employees.

Tata Consultancy Services: Tata Consultancy Services has sent transfer notice to more than 2000 of its employees. Giving this information, IT employees’ union Employee Union Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) said that the company has asked all these employees to join at those locations within 15 days. Earlier, in another decision, TCS had made it mandatory for the employees to work from office five days a week.

Action will be taken if you do not join on time

According to the report published in Moneycontrol, this information has been given to the transferred employees by mail. It has been said in this mail that the employees will have to join at the specified location in the next two weeks. If this is not done the company can take action against the employees. Along with this, it has also been said in this mail letter that the company will pay the travel and accommodation expenses of the employees. Employees started receiving these mails from the month of August itself.

Employees complained

After TCS’s mail, at least 180 employees have lodged their complaint with the union Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES). Employees have said that the company is transferring employees from one city to another without proper information. Due to this they may have to face big problems.

Following the complaint of the employees, the IT union has filed a complaint against TCS with the Ministry of Labor and Employment. According to the report published in Money Control, NITES President Harpreet Singh Saluja has said that the company did not pay attention to the family and financial problems of the employees while taking this decision. Due to this, employees may have to face huge problems. He said that most of the 2000 employees have gone to the transferred place, but still 150 to 200 employees are avoiding doing so.

What answer did the company give?

When asked by Moneycontrol, a company official said that this is a routine decision which has been implemented mostly for freshers who have been trained at different places, but now they have been deployed on real projects. The company refused to respond to the allegations made by the employees.
