New Delhi. The country’s largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services has clarified its stand regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms like ChatGPT. The veteran IT company has refused to consider AI platforms like ChatGPT as a threat. According to the company, these AI will work as co-workers and they will not reduce jobs.

TCS Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) Milind Lakkad said such tools will help improve productivity, but will not change the business model of companies. Please tell that about 6 lakh people work in TCS.

AI will be like a co-worker

Lakkar recently said, “It (Generative AI) will be a co-worker. It will take time for the co-worker to understand the context of the customer.” He explained that job means industry and customer centric, which only humans will do in future and such co-workers will be helpful in this work. He said, “It is not that it will eat your job, but the definitions of jobs will change.”
