Small traders’ organization CAIT has written a letter to Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal demanding suspension of e-commerce website Amazon. This demand has been made in view of the allegations of some Amazon employees allegedly feeding bribes to government officials in India.

The organization said that Amazon should be ordered to shut down its e-commerce site and suspend all activities related to it till the investigation is done. The organization said, ‘This matter is very serious and sensational. Our demand is that till this CBI investigation is not done, Amazon should be ordered to suspend its e-commerce portal and stop all other activities related to it.
