Abhishek Dubey, Bhopal. The process of admission to Government Colleges of Higher Education Department will start in the end of July and will end in August. The new academic session 2020-21 will begin from September 1. This time the special thing is that the students have to complete the course in just six months. Whereas each time eight months met to complete syllabus (syllabus).

Syllabus will not be cut

The Department of Higher Education has made it clear that the syllabus will not be cut. Colleges must complete the syllabus by imposing additional classes. Completing an eight-month syllabus in just six months will not only be challenging for students, but it will be difficult for professors as well. Every year in May, the process of admission to colleges started. This process went on till August. Whereas, academic session would also start from 1 July. This used to start conducting classes, but this time the entire session has gone awry due to lockdown.

Giving more time to students will affect the next academic session

The Department of Higher Education believes that if classes are conducted in March and April giving two months’ time to students, then the next academic session will also be affected. For this reason, the department is insisting on completing the course in six months. Along with this, the department has instructed the universities to release the results by August. So that the admission process can be done in August.
