At present, 5.5 percent on 12-month Fixed Deposit, 6.7 percent on 5-year FD, 6.8 percent on NSC, 7.1 percent on Public Provident Fund (PPF) and 7.4 percent on Senior Citizen’s Savings Scheme and 7.6 percent on Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.
