The bank has informed that it will open the next installment of the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme on 11 September 2023. The bank has set the price of Sovereign Gold Bond at Rs 5,923 per 10 grams.

Discount will be available in Sovereign Gold Bond

The central bank has also announced to give discounts to investors who apply online and offline. The bank has said that it will give a discount of Rs 50 per 10 grams. In such a situation, after the discount, the price of the bond will become Rs 5,873 per 10 grams. Many investors are confused as to how to buy this bond?

How to buy gold bonds

Many banks provide customers the facility to buy gold bonds. You can also buy gold bonds through net banking of SBI and ICICI Bank. Apart from this, many investors can also buy it through RBI, NSE, BSE and Post Office. You can sell these bonds on the stock exchange.

How much to invest

In this gold bond you will have to buy at least 1 gram. Whereas an investor can buy 4 grams of gold bond and HUF can buy up to 4 grams of gold. Apart from this, trusts and similar institutions can invest up to a maximum of 20 kg.

Investors get the benefit of interest rate of 2.50 percent on gold bonds. This interest is given after every 6 months.
