Share Market Holiday 2025 : The month of October is about to come. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) have announced the calendar of trading holidays for October 2025.

Most of the holidays are falling in the month of October. Both Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed for a total of three days in October.

There will be no trading on October 2 as Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra fall on the same day. After this, the market will remain closed on October 21 due to Diwali Laxmi Pujan. However, traditional Muhurat trading will be organized in the evening of the same day, the time of which will be announced later. The next day i.e. on October 22, there will be no trading in the market on the occasion of Diwali Balipratipada.

In this way, investors will get a long break of three days in October. At the same time, some big festivals are falling on weekends in the new year 2025, such as Republic Day on 26 January (Sunday) and Ram Navami on 6 April (Sunday). There will be no separate market holiday on these occasions.

This means that investors will see the biggest impact in the month of October, when market trading will be closed for three days due to continuous festivals.
