Second blow to Congress in MP in 5 months / 6 hours after joining BJP, Kunwar Pradyuman Singh Lodhi becomes President of Civil Supplies Corporation, cabinet minister status

Bhopal. Six hours after quitting the legislature and joining the BJP, Kunwar Pradyuman Singh Lodhi has been made the chairman of the Civil Supplies Corporation. He will hold the rank of cabinet minister. Let us know that the Congress got another shock in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. When Pradyuman Singh Lodhi, MLA from Bada Malhra seat of Chhatarpur district also joined BJP.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and state party chief VD Sharma were also present during this period. Pradyuman has also resigned from the membership of the Legislative Assembly. It is being told that the reason for Pradyuman’s resignation was taken on the target of his close friends after Jyotiraditya Scindia joined the BJP.



Independent MLA Pradeep Jaiswal Mineral Corporation Chairman

At the same time, Independent MLA Pradeep Jaiswal from Varasivani, who was the Minister of Minerals in the Kamal Nath Government, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Mineral Corporation. Jaiswal has been given the status of a cabinet minister. Orders for his appointment have been issued. Pradeep Jaiswal also voted in favor of the BJP candidate during the Rajya Sabha election. Since then, there was speculation that he would get a bigger post.

It is also being said that more Congress MLAs may also leave the party. In such a situation, there has been an increase in political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh. Earlier in March, 22 Congress MLAs left the party and joined the BJP.



The elections were won from Bada Malhara,
in December 2018, in the assembly elections, Pradyuman Singh Lodhi defeated BJP candidate Lalita Yadav. Uma Bharti became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the first time in 2003, when she was elected MLA from Bada Malhra seat.

These MLAs have previously left Congress
Imrati Devi, Rajwardhan Singh, Raksha Saronia, Mahendra Singh Sisodia, OPS Bhadoria, Ranvir Jatav, Govind Singh Rajput, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Raghuraj Singh Kansana, Giraj Dandotia, Munnalal Goyal, Jasmant, Manot Chaudhary, Adal Singh Kansana, Bisahulal Singh, Prabhuram Chaudhary, Jajpal Singh, Suresh Dhakad, Kamlesh Jatav, Tulsi Silavat, Brijendra Singh Yadav and Hardeep Singh left the Congress and joined the BJP on March 23.



Banwari Lal Sharma, Congress MLA from Jaura seat in Morena district, who was vacant after the demise of two seats legislators, died on 21 December 2019. On January 30 this year, BJP MLA from Agar-Malwa Manohar Camel also passed away due to illness.

On 20 March, the government fell, on 23 March, Shivraj became the CM for the fourth time, on March
20, after the resignation of 22 MLAs, including 6 pro-Scindia supporters, the Congress had to resign and the 15-month-old Congress government fell. On March 23, Shivraj Singh Chauhan was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state for the fourth time.



Position in assembly

The Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly has 230 members. Of these, 22 have already resigned. 2 have passed away.
