Renewal of registration of imported bikes and cars will cost Rs 10,000 for the bike and Rs 40,000 for the car.





50 rupees for every day’s delay In

this notification of the Central Government, after the expiry of the date of fitness certificate, an additional charge of 50 rupees will also have to be paid for every day’s delay. According to the notification, in case of delay in application for renewal of registration certificate, Rs 300 will be charged for each month of delay from the private vehicle. For every month of delay in commercial vehicles, an additional charge of Rs 500 will be charged.

Scrap policy will be implemented from June 2024, the

government will issue licenses for scrapping centers from place to place. Monitoring of Scraping Center (RVSS) will also be done. It will be supervised by the State Transport Commissioner. At the center, 15 years old commercial vehicles and 20 years old private vehicles will be scrapped.

Investment of thousands of crores will come from the scrapping policy

The ambitious scrapping policy of the central government will bring an investment of Rs 10,000 crores in this industry. This will create lakhs of employment opportunities. At the same time, a certificate will be given on scrapping the old vehicle, by showing it the registration fee will be waived on the purchase of a new vehicle and a discount in road tax will also be given. With this, the vehicle owner will get rid of the loss due to maintenance cost, repairing cost and low mileage of the old vehicle.
