School Closed: The winter season is at its peak in Uttar Pradesh. In view of this, the DM of Lakhimpur Kheri has ordered a holiday in all schools from nursery to 12th.
School Closed: Uttar Pradesh is in the grip of severe cold and severe cold wave these days. Due to cold wave and dense fog, people have been forced to remain confined to their homes. The sun has not been seen in most parts of UP for the last several days. Keeping the cold in mind, holidays have been declared in schools from class one to eight in many districts of the state.
Classes up to intermediate postponed
On the instructions of Lakhimpur Kheri DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, DIOS Dr. Mahendra Pratap Singh has announced a holiday in schools. In the order issued, the DIOS said that due to the cold, classes from nursery to intermediate of all boards will remain suspended till January 14. However, if practical examinations or pre-board examinations have already been scheduled in any recognised school, then high school and intermediate examinees are allowed to appear on time.
