Classes will be hybrid in Delhi – NCR
The rising AQI (Air Quality Index) in Delhi and Noida has once again prompted the administration to tighten its grip . Under GRAP -III (Graded Response Action Plan ) , a decision has been made to run classes up to grade 5 in Delhi in hybrid mode . This means that children can either study online from home or attend offline classes at school .
Schools in Noida have also adopted a similar approach . All outdoor activities , such as assemblies , sports , and open -air games, have been suspended . Many schools have instructed parents to monitor school-teacher communication , as online classes may be conducted at any time.
Bihar: Schools closed due to election duty
Schools in several districts of Bihar have been declared closed due to the counting of votes for the assembly elections on November 14. Schools in Samastipur, Patna, and surrounding districts are being used as counting centers.
In districts where the counting is underway, all government and private schools will remain closed. However, classes will operate as usual in other districts. The administration has urged parents to seek official information about the holiday from their schools.
Telangana: Holiday extended due to by-elections and counting of votes
Schools in Telangana are also closed due to the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. All educational institutions are closed on November 14th, as counting day is a holiday. Some schools have combined Children’s Day events with this holiday and organized online review sessions to ensure children’s studies are not affected.
Schools closed in Jammu and Kashmir too
Schools in Jammu and Kashmir will also be closed due to the counting of votes for the by-elections held on November 11. Educational institutions in the Budgam and Nagrota assembly constituencies have been declared a day off due to the vote count.
Normal classes in other states
In states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, and West Bengal, schools will operate as normal. In some places, half-day or special programs have been organized to mark Children’s Day.
