School Closed News: Rain and landslides in the northern parts of the country have badly affected the life of the people. In states like Jammu and Kashmir to Punjab, the wrath of nature is taking a heavy toll on the people.
In view of the continuous rain, the Meteorological Department has issued red and orange alerts in many districts. In view of the alert, the state governments have issued orders to close schools and colleges in many districts as a precautionary measure.
In view of the continuous rain in Jammu and Kashmir and the serious situation of landslides in the hilly areas, it has been decided to keep all government and private schools in Jammu district closed on Tuesday, September 2. The district administration has said that online classes can be conducted till the weather conditions become normal.

Heavy rains have created flood-like conditions in Punjab. In many areas, water has filled up to the knees, due to which normal life has been completely disrupted. In view of the situation, the state government has announced that all government and private schools in Punjab will remain closed till September 3.
