Investors in this scheme are paid interest after maturity after deducting TDS and deposited in their account. State Bank of India is offering interest ranging from 3 percent to 7 percent to general customers on fixed deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. At the same time, senior citizens get interest on investments at the rate of 3.50 percent to 7.50 percent.
