The special thing is that the cardholders will get up to 5% cashback on all online spends without any merchant restrictions. There are still cards in the market offering cashback of up to 5 percent, but there are some restrictions on them. For example, 5% cashback will be available only when you do a transaction at a particular merchant. Cashback from SBI card is available on both online and offline purchases. So much cashback will be available on this card that you can get cashback up to 6 thousand rupees in a year.
How to apply?
SBI Cards said that customers across India, including Tier-II and Tier-III cities, can apply for a cashback credit card sitting at home through the digital application platform ‘SBI Card Sprint’.
How much will the card fee?
SBI has kept the card fee free till March 2023 under the special offer. After this, the renewal fee of the card for one year will be Rs 999. However, if you spend Rs 2 lakh with this card in a year, then you will not have to pay the renewal fee of this card.
How much will the cashback come?
According to the company, the contactless card is free as a special offer in the first year till March 2023. It has been told in this, if you spend Rs 100 online with ‘Cashback SBI Card’, then you will get unlimited 1% cashback. In this way, you can get up to 5% cashback on online purchases up to Rs 10,000 per month. That is, if you do a transaction of 10 thousand rupees with this card in a month, then you will get a cashback of 6000 rupees in a year. In this card you have been given the facility of auto-credit. Under this, you will get cashback in your SBI Card account within a day or two after the statement is generated.
