SBI Cash Deposit New Rule: Now you can deposit large amount of cheques online in SBI, know what is the process

New Delhi: Positive pay system has been started by the government for large amount check payments. After this, once again verification is done by the banks for large amount checks. But if your account is in the country’s largest government bank State Bank of India, then you will not need to go to the bank to deposit your cheque. You can also deposit your check online from the comfort of your home.

Check will be deposited through YONO app

If you have an account with State Bank of India, you can deposit the check by visiting the bank branch and filling an application. After its approval, the payment is made through the Positive Pay system. If SBI customers want, they can also take advantage of this online sitting at home, for this they can take the help of Yonolite, Retail Internet Banking, Corporate Internet Banking and YONO Mobile App. At present, the positive pay system is applicable for checks of Rs 5 lakh or more for savings accounts and Rs 10 lakh and above for current accounts, overdrafts etc.

Positive pay system will be like this with YONO app

To use the positive pay system from the YONO app, first you have to open the SBI YONO app and click on the service option. After this, now you will see the option of ‘Check Lodgement Details’, select it. Now you have to submit here by writing details like check number, date of issue of check, check amount.

Through net banking

Log in to State Bank of India Net Banking. Here click on Check Book Services. Here you select your account number by clicking on positive pay. After this, fill the required details such as check number, check type, amount, and name of the payee and submit it.
