New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank, has once again alerted its customers about fraud. SBI has said that customers should be alert about fraud. SBI has also tweeted in this regard. SBI has tweeted saying that customers should not share bank details, ATM or UPI PIN with anyone.



SBI has warned its customers that many times people fall prey to fraud by clicking on fake links by getting caught in the gift affair. In such a situation, the bank (SBI) keeps warning its customers from time to time to beware of such frauds.

The bank has once again clarified that its employees never ask you for sensitive information like account number, debit card details and internet banking related information. At the same time, the bank does not ask for OTP nor does it ask you to click on third party links through phone, SMS or email. In such a situation, if you get such messages, in which such information has been sought through any person or party in the name of SBI, then get alert. Actually, some cyber thugs are asking for details by messaging customers.



Customers should not share their account number, debit card or credit card details. Do not click on any unknown links on mobile phones or messages. At the same time, the customer should not reply to the fake e-mail ID.

The bank has clarified that if you are getting such messages, then read them carefully. Apart from this, customers can also lodge complaints on Cybercrime website https://Cybercrime.Gov.In. At the same time, they can also give this information on the helpline number 155260. On the other hand, if there is an unauthorized transaction from the account of SBI’s customer, then they can call its customer care number 1800111109.
