PIB Fact Check: If your savings account is also in SBI, then this news is of your use. The message related to the transaction of the country’s largest state-run bank SBI (SBI) is going viral. It is being claimed in this message that you can make 40 transactions annually in the savings account. For more than 40 transactions, Rs 57.5 will be deducted from the amount deposited in the account on every transaction.

PIB rubbished all the claims as fake!
In another message, it is also being said that a total of Rs 173 will be deducted for withdrawing money from ATM more than 4 times. It was told on PIB fact check that no such rule has been made by the bank. It was told by PIB that all these claims are fake. The bank has not changed any rules for making transactions.

5 Transactions Free Every Month!
Recently, it was told by PIB Fact that 5 free transactions can be done every month from your bank’s ATM. After this, a maximum of Rs 21 will be payable separately for the transaction or any tax.
