SBI ATM Plan: Good news! SBI giving a chance to earn 90,000/- rupees every month, just submit these documents, see complete details

If you see any gift or cash related link in your message or mail inbox, then stay away from it. Because by clicking on any such link, you can become a victim of online phishing.

State Bank of India (SBI) has warned its customers on Twitter to protect them from online phishing. In a tweet, the country’s largest bank has advised its customers to stay away from links with gifts or cash back received by mail or message and not to click on them.

SBI has written in its tweet that, “Are you receiving links in your inbox? Do not click these! Clicking on such phishing links may result in loss of your hard earned money. Be careful. Clicking may result in loss of your hard earned money.” Think ahead!”

Apart from this, SBI has also written in its tweet that, “Free gift from National Bank of India? Don’t be tempted, beware of phishing links luring free gifts.”

It has been seen for some time that as banking services are going digital, the risk of online scams or frauds has also increased. Many a times customers find some such links in mail inbox, whatsapp chat or messages which contain cash back, coupons, rewards or other such tempting offers. To take these offers or cash back, you have to open those links and provide some information on them. But often these types of links are for defrauding customers and for online phishing and if you open them then you may also have to suffer financial loss.

Keeping in view the safety of the customers, from time to time, banks are alerting the customers of banking related dangers. Apart from this, the bank also forbids its customers to share any banking related information with anyone else.

Gati also warned customers

Meanwhile, leading logistics company Gati has also cautioned customers ahead of the festive season to beware of such fraudulent operators who can cheat people by using wrong company name or logo. The company has told people that the company has only one website – http://www.gati.com and people should use this website for any kind of logistic service.
