SBI Alert: SBI cautions about fake customer care numbers, know details

State Bank of India has alerted its 44 crore customers about fake customer care numbers.

New Delhi. The cases of banking fraud are increasing continuously in the country. These frauds are making people a victim of their fraud in new ways. To avoid such frauds, the country’s largest bank State Bank of India has been continuously warning people. In this sequence, SBI has issued another tweet on Wednesday, appealing to its 44 crore customers to be alert.



SBI has alerted about the fake customer care number by tweeting. The bank said in a tweet, “Beware of fake customer care numbers. Please visit the official website of SBI for correct customer care number. Refrain from sharing confidential banking information with anyone.

The bank has also shared a video in this tweet, in which a person mistakenly calls on the phone on a fake customer care number, in which the account is breached by taking all the information. At the end of the video it has been said that if there is any kind of fraud, report it immediately. You can call report.phising@sbi.co.in or cyber crime helpline number 155260.





Account may be empty due to free gift.
Recently, SBI had warned customers about fraud in the name of free gift. The bank had said through Twitter that fraudsters are stealing their personal details by sending a link to the customer in the name of free gift.
