SBI Alert: State Bank of India has said that customers should not share their account number, debit card or credit card details with anyone.

State Bank of India, the largest public sector bank, has issued an alert to its customers. The bank has asked its customers to be alert about fraud. SBI has tweeted from its official Twitter handle saying that do not share bank details, ATM or UPI PIN with anyone. In fact, many times people become victims of fraud by clicking on the fake link in the gift affair. In such a situation, State Bank of India (SBI) warns its customers from time to time to beware of such frauds.

Bank does not ask for such information

The bank has said that it or its employees never ask you for sensitive information such as account number, debit card details and internet banking related information. At the same time, the bank does not ask for OTP nor does it ask you to click on third party links through phone, SMS or email. Therefore, if such messages come in which such information has been sought through any person or party in the name of SBI, then get alert. Actually some cyber thugs are asking for details by messaging customers in the name of SBI.

Customers beware

Customers should not share their account number, debit card or credit card details. Do not click on any unknown link on mobile phone or message. At the same time, the customer should not reply to the fake e-mail ID.

You can complain here

It is not difficult to catch these messages sent by cyber thugs, because there is definitely a spelling mistake in these messages. If you are getting such messages, then read them carefully. Apart from this, customers can lodge complaints on the website of cybercrime https://cybercrime.gov.in. At the same time, they can also give this information on the helpline number 155260. On the other hand, if there is an unauthorized transaction from the account of SBI’s customer, then they can call its customer care number 1800111109.
