Police station in-charge Vinay Singh told that VS Sharma (62 years) resident of Panchsheel Nagar BMY Charoda is a retired employee of the Railways. He has an account in Bhilai 3’s SBI Padumnagar branch. Lakhs of retirement rupees were deposited in that account. At around 11.30 am on December 15, VS Sharma had withdrawn Rs 6,000 from his account.

After installing YONO app

A week later, he again reached SBI Bank and got the YONO app (SBI’s online transaction app) downloaded from the bank’s help desk on his mobile. After the bank employee downloaded the app on his mobile, he went to the SBI machine to enter his passbook.

As soon as you enter, your senses fly away.

The retired employee, after making an entry, saw that the balance on his account was zero. Seeing this, his senses were blown away. He spoke directly to the bank manager in this matter, on which the bank manager saw on his computer that Rs 10 lakh 53 thousand 699 had been withdrawn from his account.

Sharma says that he has three FDs in the same bank. He is like that. If there was an online transaction from his account, then how was the OTP amount withdrawn without it. On this complaint, the police have registered a case of cheating in the matter. Cyber Cell will investigate this matter.
