New Delhi, JNN.L Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ was Sanjana Sanghi’s first film. With this film Mukesh Chhabra was also becoming director for the first time. After Sushant’s death, Sanjana Sanghi spoke about her experience of working with Sushant Singh Rajput for the first time through a press release. She told that she first met Sushant in a workshop organized by Mukesh Chhabra. The story took place while reading.
Sanjana revealed that since both the actors were about to achieve academic achievement, it did not take long for them to bond. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020, which shocked his fans, family and people associated with the film industry. The Mumbai Police is currently investigating the suicide case.
Recalling Sushant, Sanjana recounted her first meeting at a script reading session, ‘We both read the script till the last word and both of our copies looked as if they were old novels. Mukesh asked me to rest and we all became friends.
Sanjana further explained that apart from education, food was a big reason for the bonding between them. She says, ‘Mukesh, Sushant and I all like to have a good meal. After seeing the food on the dining table, we decided to eat by sitting on the floor. After sitting on a mat, we started having our meal. He told me how much food I can eat. Apart from education, our bonding with food also increased. During dinner, a message was sent to me by my father. It was written that he has received a letter stating that I have become a gold medalist in Delhi University. Sushant, Mukesh and the entire team were eager to hear this news. The best thing about Sushant was that there was no one to compete with him in academia and cinema. I will keep the values he has taught for a lifetime. ‘
