Meeting with employees association

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting with the representatives of the Employees Association. This decision was taken after talking to different representatives in this meeting. The Chief Minister announced that now the employees of the state will get the benefit of the increased salary. In this meeting, time was given till June 30 of this year to find a solution on other issues with the employees.

When will the employees get the money


Let us tell you that this change will be effective from July 1, 2018, while the monetary benefits related to it will be paid from April 1, 2020. At the same time, with the increased salary, the new salary will be available from January 1, 2022. That is, there is going to be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. According to the statement issued by the government, this decision will put an additional financial burden of Rs 10,247 crore on the exchequer annually.

Outstanding DA will also be paid

After this meeting, the Chief Minister told the Employee Associations that the outstanding Dearness Allowance (DA) would be paid along with the January salary. Along with this, provident fund, insurance, leave encashment and other pending payments will be fully cleared by April. That is, in this meeting, the government solved many problems related to the salary of the employees of the state.

Will decide on pension scheme

On the Contributory Pension Scheme, the Chief Minister said that a sub-committee of a cabinet is considering the matter and a final decision will be taken by June 30. He said that a committee would be constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, which would look into the problems related to the health scheme of the employees and find solutions for them. That is, the government is now looking strict for the salary related problems of its employees.
