UP Police Constable Exam date : UPPRPB releases examination date for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023

UP Police Constable Exam date: The examination for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable in UP Police will be held on 17th and 18th February. Police Recruitment Board has released the official notice of exam date.


UP Police Constable Exam date: The written examination for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable in UP Police will be held on 17th and 18th February. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the official notice of exam date. UP Police Recruitment Board has said that the admit cards of the written examination will be made available on the board’s website uppbpb.gov.in at the right time. Candidates keep checking the official website. Candidates have to follow the instructions given in the admit card and appear on the given date, time and examination centre.

After the release of the official notice of the exam date, now the candidates are waiting for their admit card. Admit cards of the candidates may be released three to four days earlier i.e. around 13th February. The details of exam city can be released a week before i.e. on 9-10 February.

There will be tough competition

About 50.14 lakh applications have been received for recruitment. So many applications have never been received in any previous UP Police recruitment. Among the 50 lakh candidates who have applied for UP Police Constable Recruitment, about 15 lakh are women. It is clear from the record breaking number of applications that selection will not be easy. There will be strong competition. There are 83 contenders for one post among male candidates, while 125 candidates will contest for one post among women. Let us tell you that out of total vacancy, about 12000 posts will be reserved for women candidates.

Exam pattern

The written examination will be of 300 marks. There were questions on general knowledge, general Hindi, numerical and mental ability, mental aptitude, IQ and logical ability. There will be total 150 questions.

There will also be negative marking on wrong answers. 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. If two or more candidates have equal marks, preference will be given to those candidates who have NCC B Certificate or DOEC O Level or two years experience in Territorial Army. If there is nothing in it then those who are older will be placed higher in merit.

Physical Test – Candidates passing the written examination will be called for physical test. Men will have to run 4.8 km in 25 minutes and women will have to run 2.4 km in 14 minutes.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. There will be no interview in this recruitment. No waiting list will be prepared.
