Let us tell you that you will have to pay a fine on filing ITR from today. Yesterday i.e. 31st July was the last date to file ITR. Till now, no update has been issued by the Income Tax Department to extend the last date for filing ITR.



New Delhi. From 1st August i.e. today, there have been many such changes in the country, whose direct impact can be seen on our monthly budget and expenses. These changes include LPG cylinder prices, fees on filling ITR, rules related to checks and money transactions in the bank and rules related to PM Kisan e-KYC. All these changes will have a direct impact on your pocket. Because of which it is very important to be aware of these rules.

Fine for filing ITR

Let us tell you that you will have to pay a fine on filing ITR from today. Yesterday i.e. 31st July was the last date to file ITR. Till now, no update has been issued by the Income Tax Department to extend the last date for filing ITR. That is, if you have not filed ITR till yesterday, then from today you will have to pay a fine for filing ITR. Filing ITR after July 31 can attract a fine ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 under section 234F of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

LPG cylinder prices

The people struggling with inflation have got a big relief on the front of LPG price prices from today. From the morning of August 1, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been cut across the country. This reduction in cylinder prices by petroleum companies has brought great relief to restaurant, hotel and dhaba owners.


After this latest reduction in the price of commercial LPG cylinders by petroleum companies, the price of LPG cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi has become cheaper by Rs 36. Now the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1976.50 per cylinder. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders.

PM Kisan e-KYC

A scheme named PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is being run for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the farmers. Let us inform that, it was necessary for the beneficiaries of this scheme to do e-KYC to get the benefit of 12 installment of PM Kisan. The last date for e-KYC was fixed as July 31. There is no information regarding the extension of the last date. In such a situation, any farmers who have not got e-KYC done under PM Kisan, they will not get the benefit of 2 thousand rupees of 12 installments.

Positive pay system

Let us tell you that from August 1, the positive pay system system has been implemented by the major public sector bank, Bank of Baroda. In order to prevent banking fraud, the Reserve Bank introduced the positive pay system for checks in the year 2020. Payment through check through this system requires some important information for payment of more than 50,000.
