The outstanding arrears of 4 years and 3 months will be paid to all eligible retired teaching staff and family pensioners of University Affiliated Colleges of Jharkhand State. For this, the government is continuing to approve the proposal of the Higher Technical and Education Department. Sankalp Patras will also be issued along with the approval. With the issuance of the resolution letter, a total of 6% of the outstanding arrears will be added and paid to pensioners including retired employees.


After the implementation of the sixth pay scale, the government had given conceptual approval to give the sixth pay scale from January 1, 2006, but its actual benefit was given from April 2010. After this decision of the government, the doors of the High Court and the Supreme Court were approached by the teacher employees. He won in the High Court and Supreme Court. Following the orders of the Supreme Court and the High Court, the government has decided to clear the dues.

The matter of payment of dues was stuck in limbo for 2 years. Now the government has taken a decision on this. It has also been approved in the cabinet meeting. Family pensioners including working and retired teachers under the sixth pay scale are to be paid by adding a total of 6% to the balance amount of 4 years and 3 months along with the payment of the difference. With which a big increase in their pension will be recorded. 25 to 30 thousand rupees can be seen in his account through installments.
