Relief to Taxpayers! Income Tax Department started a new facility for filing complaints, check details

Income Tax Department has issued 3 official email ids for Faceless Assessment, Appeal and Penalty for the convenience of the taxpayers. Now taxpayers can file a complaint on separate email for their different problem.


New Delhi. The Income Tax Department has started a special facility for the convenience of the taxpayers. Under this, now a separate platform has been provided to the taxpayers for different types of complaints. In fact, the department has issued three different official email ids for taxpayers to file complaints on several aspects under the Faceless Assessment Scheme. In order to improve the Taxpayers Service in sync with the Taxpayers’ Charter, the Department has created dedicated e-mail IDs under the Faceless Scheme for registering complaints related to pending cases.

It will be easy for taxpayers to make complaints. The
Income Tax Department said that with this, taxpayers can complain for their particular problem through three different email ids. Actually, under the Faceless Assessment Scheme i.e. e-assessment, there is no face-to-face between the taxpayers and the tax officer. This will make it easier for taxpayers to file any complaint. Also, their problem will also be solved easily. Let us tell you that this scheme was launched by the Central Government in the year 2019. Under this scheme, taxpayers are not required to meet any officer of the Income Tax Department.


On which e-mail id, which complaint
has to be made, on the 3 email ids issued by the Income Tax Department, taxpayers will make different types of complaints, then they can be resolved faster. Let us know which type of complaint can be made on which e-mail id.
