As the new entrant in remote and online work, learning time in the laptop segment in India after a very competitive phase, Redmi, the sub-brand of Mi India, has entered the laptop category with two laptops. The company has introduced RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-learning edition. The RedmiBook Pro is available with a starting price of Rs 49,990, while the RedmiBook e-learning device will cost a starting price of Rs 41,999 for the 256 GB and Rs 44,999 for the 512 GB variant.

The RedmiBook e-learning device is specially designed for the enthusiastic students. Be it school going students, college going youth or office going workers. In terms of design, the RedmiBook e-learning device comes with a polycarbonate chassis with a brushed metal finish. It weighs 1.8 kg and is 19.9 mm thin. The laptop has a large multi-touch trackpad and 1.5mm keyboard with Windows Precision drivers.

Laptops cannot be called lightweight. However, at the same time there will be no problem in moving the device from one place to another. The laptop has a 15.6-inch full-HD display. Whose resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is given in 60 Hz refresh rate. The device also sports a 720 pixel webcam on the front for video calls and dual microphones.

It comes pre-installed with older versions of Microsoft Office Home and Student, which can be good news for many users.
