The thing is, we already have the base Redmi Note 15 5G in the country, but the “real” power players—the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro Plus—are reportedly locked in for a January 27, 2026 launch.² Or nothing. Let’s be real, the global versions just debuted in December, so the Indian variants are basically carbon copies with a few local tweaks. Those too.

• The Battery Moat: The Note 15 Pro has a massive 6,580mAh cell.⁵ The thing is, it only charges at 45W.⁶ If you want the speed, the Pro Plus drops slightly to 6,500mAh but cranks the charging up to 100W (global specs say 90W/100W depending on the region).

• The Brains: The Pro is running the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra, while the Pro Plus gets the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.⁷ The thing is, the Snapdragon is the one to watch for better ISP (image processing) for that 200MP camera.

The thing is, at ₹30k+, Redmi is moving out of “budget” territory and straight into the path of the Nothing Phone and OnePlus “R” series. It’s getting crowded in the mid-range.
