Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition: Xiaomi’s Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 10 series in 2021. In which Redmi Note 10, Note 10S, Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro Max smartphones have been introduced. Now, the company has launched Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition. This is essentially the Redmi Note 10 5G with several major changes. The most important thing is that it will not spoil even in water. Let’s know about the price and features of Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition …

What is the difference between the phones?

The first major difference is the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, which replaces the budget Dimensity 700 5G SoC in the standard 5G model. The two chipsets share a similar CPU layout (2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55), while the Qualcomm chip sports the Adreno 619 GPU instead of the MediaTek chip’s Mali-G57 MC2 graphics.

Won’t spoil even in water

Another major difference is that the Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition is water and dust resistant. We have seen splash resistant in Xiaomi budget phones in the past. The phone packs a 4,800mAh battery as compared to the 5,000mAh pack on the Redmi Note 10 5G.

Features of Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition

Otherwise both the phones look very similar, including 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD panel (FHD+), 18W wired charging, 48MP + 2MP + 2MP rear camera system, 8MP camera in center-mounted punch-hole cutout, IR blaster, 3.5mm port , and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The company has not yet disclosed its price. But Japanese consumers can expect a 4GB/64GB model at launch. The launch price of the Redmi Note 10 5G was $199 (approximately Rs 14,791), so we will place the Redmi Note 10 Japan variant in the same price window.
