In the mid of corona crisis, there has been changes in several rules related to LPG, Bank, Aadhar, Toll, from today i.e. September 1, 2020. These new rules will have a direct impact on your pocket. Please note that the banks moratorium waiver period has ended from September 1. Besides this, oil companies have also changed the LPG prices. Also, many services have been restarted in Unlock 4.0.



What are the changes in LPG price, Banks, Aadhar, GST from September 1, 2020?

1. New LPG Gas Cylinder Price
This time the LPG gas rates have not changed much. Customers can note that the price of non-subsidized LPG as on 1 September is 14.594 per cylinder (14.2 kg) in Delhi & Mumbai each, according to the Indian Oil Corporation data. However, the price in Kolkata has been reduced from Rs 621 per cylinder to 620.50 per cylinder. In Chennai, the price has been changed from 610 to 610.50 per cylinder.

2. Loan Moratorium
The RBI has not yet extended the ban on the payment of loan installment (EMI) of banks beyond 31 August. As per sources, extending the discount on loan payment may affect the loan behaviour of the borrowers and this will not solve the issues faced by them due to covid-19.

3. Discount on Fastag
The Union Road Transport Ministry has also changed the rules. Under the new rule, on coming back from any place within 24 hours, the toll tax exemption will be given to only those trains which have Fastag. In other words, now you will not get this discount on cash payment.



4. Aadhar card
As per the information from UIDAI through a tweet, now the fee for one or more updates will be Rs 100, including biometrics update.

5. Toll Tax
The government has increased the toll tax rates from 5 to 8 percent. Under which private and commercial vehicles will now have to pay different toll tax rates.



6. Duty on GST payment
It is to be noted that now as per new rule, late payment will be charged on GST. From today, September 1, interest will be charged on total tax liability.
