UP Ration Card: As you all know how important it is to have a ration card. It is used for many purposes. Through ration card, citizens can buy ration from government ration shops at low prices.



There is a very happy news for the ration card consumers of the state of Uttar Pradesh. The government has been distributing free ration to the poor for some time due to the corona pandemic, due to which the citizens of the state of UP can be provided free of cost pulses, oil and salt along with food grains every month .

Citizens can get free ration till next year
According to media reports, the Yogi government can further extend the existing Central Food Distribution Program ‘PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana’ till March 2022 , in which the facility of free ration to citizens can be continued till March 2022. This scheme has been started for the citizens from the time of Corona period so that citizens do not have to face any problem. This scheme is to be run by the Prime Minister till November 2021, but in UP this scheme is likely to be extended till the month of March next year.



Chief Minister praised the ration scheme
This scheme of distribution of free ration to the citizens was praised during the meeting held by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Aditya Nath with the MLAs and with different organizations. Along with this, it was also suggested by Yogi ji that due to Corona, this scheme should be continued till March 2022 . It is being told that the Chief Minister has not given immediate feedback on the feedback, but after discussing it with his team, he directed to prepare the proposal.

Along with grains, these things will also be available
In this scheme of the central government, so far 3 kg of wheat and 2 kg of rice are distributed to the citizens, but the state government is planning to add food items like: 1 kg of pulses, 1 liter of oil and a packet of salt . With this, the ration card holders of the poor families of the state will be able to get ration well filled.
