Ration Card update: Free ration facility is provided by the government to the ration card holders. But some ration dealers do not give full ration to the customers or are reluctant while distributing the ration. For such people, the Government of India has shared many such numbers on its official portal https://nfsa.gov.in/, with the help of which you can complain about the ration dealer.



Many state governments in the country are providing free ration facility to the ration card holders under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY). The free ration facility being given in some states of India like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi has been increased. Let us tell you, rice, wheat, pulses and sugar are given by the government to the ration card consumers.

Often there is a complaint that the ration dealers do not give full ration to the customers or they are reluctant while distributing the ration. What is Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana?

Keeping in mind the 21-day lockdown by the Central Government on 26 March 2020, this scheme was started so that the poor people do not face any problem. Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, run by the government for the people who are troubled for their livelihood during the Corona transition, the poor get free food grains at the rate of 5 kg per person. An amount of 1.70 crore was allocated by the central government for the successful implementation of this scheme.
