RBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2026 Date Out: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has released a major update regarding the board exams for the year 2026. Board Secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore stated that the class 10th and 12th board exams will begin on February 12, 2026.
According to the Board Secretary, Class 10 exams will be held from February 12th to February 28th, 2026. Class 12 exams will begin on February 12th and continue until March 11th, 2026. Exams for both classes will be conducted according to the previously scheduled schedule and will remain unchanged.
There are 6,193 examination centres in the state, 51 of which are declared sensitive.
A total of 6,193 examination centers have been set up across the state for board examinations this year. Of these, 51 centers have been designated as sensitive. These centers will be under special surveillance to maintain the sanctity of the examination. The board administration has clarified that video recording systems have been installed at sensitive centers to strictly control cheating and other inappropriate activities. Flying squads and supervisors will also be deployed.
There will be 6 days holiday between the exams.
The Board Secretary stated that students will receive a total of six days off during the examination period. These include four Sundays, while two holidays will be for the festivals of Holi and Dhulandi. The Board believes that these holidays will provide students with ample time for study and revision. Furthermore, the break during the festivals will also help students maintain mental balance and reduce stress. The Board has also clarified that there will be no changes to the examination schedule due to these holidays.
More than 19 lakh students have registered
More than 1.9 million candidates have registered for the Rajasthan Board Exams 2026. In view of this large number, the Education Department and district administration have made extensive arrangements to ensure security, confidentiality, and smooth conduct of the exams. Adequate police force, supervisors, and other staff will be deployed at the examination centers.
