According to sources – Ministry officials have expressed their inability to meet this huge demand, citing Covid Impact.




The source said that the railway budget for the business year 2021-22 is going to be around 1.70 lakh crore. Not only this, help from the Center i.e. gross budgetary support can also be around ₹ 75000 crore this time.

This time in the Railway Budget, private train, new train sets, faster travel on new route, better rail connectivity to tourist destinations, focus on solar panel based green energy, expansion in farmers train service, in North East states Infra is going to focus on expansion for rail connectivity.

If sources are to be believed, this budget will not be printed. No documents will be kept in physical form. If sources of the Finance Ministry are to be believed, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the papers of Union Budget will not be printed this time.

About 100 employees are involved in this process, who are imprisoned for about 15 days until the budget documents are printed, sealed and delivered on the budget day.
