Railway tickets will be available from July 1, Railways starts preparations

Gorakhpur, JNN. There is good news for people traveling in an emergency. From July 1, the facility of Tatkal tickets will also be available in special trains. Experts say that from June 30 this system can be implemented. Passengers can book Tatkal tickets a day in advance from railway counters or authorized agents.

Reserved tickets for all quota including Tatkal booked at general rate only

The immediate quota for tickets for 200 special trains running across the country, including Northeast Railways, has become General (uniform). Tickets for all categories are being sold at normal rates. In such a situation, the Railways are suffering. However, booking of tickets for special trains has also started taking place 120 days in advance.

Ticket sales review started

At present, the railway administration has started its preparations for booking Tatkal tickets. A review of the sale of tickets for special trains has also started. Special trains are to be expanded on the basis of review. It is also planned to run special trains on all the major express trains leaving from Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Chhapra and Varanasi in the Northeast Railway.



Provides immediate relief on not getting confirmed ticket

About 30 per cent of reserved berths and seats in express trains are earmarked for immediate quota. Whose booking is one day before the time of departure of the train. Booking of tickets for AC and Sleeper class starts from 10 AM and 11 AM. 150 in addition to the normal rate for the sleeper and Rs 300 more for AC. After 10% Tatkal tickets are booked, the fare increases on the basis of premium.
